Local Attraction WINS Heart of England Tourism 2003 Gold Award
The csma Cotswold Motoring Museum, in Bourton-on-the-Water, was awarded the highest award, GOLD, in the Excellence in Tourism 2003 awards for 'Visitor Attraction of the Year (under 100,000 visitors)' category by the Heart of England Tourist Board.
This highly prestigious accolade is awarded in recognition to those attractions whose efforts and improvements have exceeded visitor expectations and therefore represent a flagship for the tourism industry in the region, enabling visitors to have the best experience possible.
Michael Tambini, the Museum's General Manager who received the award, says "I am proud and delighted that the work and dedication of the staff and volunteers at the Museum has resulted in us being named Visitor Attraction of the Year by the Heart of England Tourist Board".
