Plan a Visit
Group Bookings
We welcome groups wishing to visit the museum.
If your group only wishes to view the museum, we only need a phone-call or for you to call in on the day of your visit.
However, if you wish to use the carpark, meeting room, or take part in a school workshop we will need at least a weeks advance notice.
Classic Car-groups
Do you belong to a classic car-group? Why not organize a visit to the beautiful Cotswold Village of Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire for an afternoon drive and bring the family too. There is plenty to do in the village, from tea and scones, a pub lunch, a wide selection of shops and many local attractions.
Parking from February 2006 is free on the museum fore-front for 8-10 cars per group over the age of thirty years. If you have over 8-10 cars in your group, we suggest also booking with the British Legion who have an extensive car-park only minutes from the museum on 01451 820478. Any bookings involving their car-park have to be dealt with direct to them.
Meeting Room
Do you have an AGM or small meeting planned? Do you want to use a free room in a distinctly different setting? From February 2005 with all group entries of over 10 people to the museum we offer our fully carpeted and heated meeting room FOR FREE!!
For those groups who want use of the room without museum entry, a minimal charge will be made for costs.
Refreshments
From February 2006, tea, coffee and biscuits can be served by museum staff or by self-service at a small charge in our meeting room. There are also plenty of local cafes, shops, restaurants within a minutes stroll of the museum for larger meals.
