Frequently Asked Questions
How many children can you cater for?
We can cater for a usual class size of up to 32 children. If you wish to bring more or fewer children, we may have to divide the class into two groups. This is possible but we need to be notified well in advance to provide an extra staff member.
Do you have somewhere we can eat lunch?
Our meeting room is heated and carpeted and we are happy for children to eat lunch in there as long as the room is left in a reasonable state.
How long does the workshop last for?
It generally lasts around two hours, one hour for the museum and one for the indoor workshop but we can be flexible.
Is it accessible to those in wheelchairs?
There is a flight of stairs to the meeting room, so unfortunately it is not accessible to those in wheelchairs. We will always try to be flexible and work a workshop out that does not involve the meeting room if possible.
